How do I apply for residency at Eisenhower Health?
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of California. Inquiries should be directed to the Medical Board of California. Appointments will be made through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) websites.
What are the California GME Licensure Requirements?

How do International Medical Graduates (IMG)s obtain certification to enter US residency programs?
All IMGs must apply for certification through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in order to apply and be accepted into US residency training programs.
Are there any opportunities for research during residency?
Eisenhower Health is committed to fostering a robust research environment for our residents. We provide multiple avenues for research engagement, including our annual Research Day, where residents can submit quality improvement projects, case reports, and research abstracts. Additionally, residents can utilize the Cureus platform to submit peer-reviewed case reports, original articles, and more, enhancing their opportunities for publication. To further support their professional development, residents are awarded a stipend to present their findings at a conference annually.
Are there any opportunities for community-oriented health care projects?
Eisenhower Health offers residents a unique opportunity to engage in community-oriented healthcare through our dedicated community health rotation. During this rotation, residents participate in street medicine initiatives and attend monthly community healthcare events. This hands-on experience allows residents to directly impact the health of our community while developing their skills in a real-world setting.
