MEDICAL SCHOOL: Ross University School of Medicine
ABOUT ME: I was born in India and moved to California in 2009. Moved around a lot in my life, including changing schools 9 times before graduating from Foothill Technology in Ventura, so adjusting to new places comes naturally to me now. I really enjoy traveling, backpacking, hiking and exploring new places in general. I also enjoy cooking and trying new cuisine and delicious dishes.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: In medical school I realized that I enjoyed tutoring in Biochem and Physiology, which I did officially on the island, and then on and off during remaining rest of medical school. I was also part of multiple clubs that helped students adjust to medical school and the island life.
WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: I had heard of Eisenhower Health from multiple of my colleagues about being an amazing environment to train, and decided to do a rotation here in my 4th year. I was really surprised by how active the ED was and how close the residents were with each other and the faculty, I realized that this is what I want for my training.
