ABOUT ME: Dr. Johnson grew up in Minnesota and developed an early appreciation for hard work, community, and the outdoors. He is happily married to an incredible wife, and together recently welcomed a 3-month-old daughter, who already keeps them smiling with her big personality. Outside of medicine, he enjoys lake life, hiking, outdoor adventures, following Minnesota Vikings/Wild and other Minnesota sports, cooking, mixology, and spending time with family. He is also a longtime Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan including Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. His passion for adult reconstruction comes from the opportunity to restore mobility, independence, and quality of life—helping patients return to the activities and stories that define who they are. He is particularly drawn to complex revision reconstruction, where thoughtful planning, creativity, and problem-solving can make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: Dr. Johnson completed medical school at Des Moines University, where he was actively involved in medical education through teaching surgical skills laboratories and other courses. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at HCA/Kansas City University GME Consortium – Research Medical Center Orthopedic Surgery Residency, where he had the privilege of serving as a Chief Resident. Throughout training, he has valued opportunities to lead, teach, and contribute academically while developing a strong clinical and surgical foundation in orthopedic surgery.
WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: Dr. Johnson chose Eisenhower Health because of its outstanding reputation in adult reconstruction, commitment to innovation, and culture of excellence. He was particularly drawn to the program’s diversity of hip approaches and integration of robotic technology, as his goal is to become proficient in the full spectrum of modern reconstructive techniques and technologies. He was equally impressed by the efficiency of the practice, the collaborative environment, and the people—surgeons and staff who are not only dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care but also to advancing the field of reconstructive surgery. Eisenhower offers an ideal environment to continue growing as both a surgeon and future leader in adult reconstruction.

ABOUT ME: Dr. Manseau completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Kansas City University/HCA Midwest, where she served as Chief Resident during the 2025–2026 academic year. She earned her medical degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico, graduating in the first quartile of her class. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of medicine, Dr. Manseau enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband, Dave, and their dog, Daisy.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: In addition to serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Manseau has demonstrated strong leadership throughout her training. During residency, she served as Chair of the Resident Forum, representing and advocating for 13 specialty residency programs in partnership with Kansas City University. She was selected by her peers to attend the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Resident Leadership Forum and has since been recognized as an AOA Emerging Leader. During medical school, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and served as President of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, reflecting her longstanding commitment to leadership, service, and excellence within medicine.
WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: Dr. Manseau chose the Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Eisenhower Health/Desert Orthopedic Center for its strong arthroplasty training, dedicated mentorship, and collaborative culture focused on excellent patient outcomes. Training in a high-volume, rigorous environment aligns with her goal of developing sound judgment, efficient technique, and expertise in complex primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. She looks forward to contributing through scholarly work and quality initiatives while continuing to grow as a surgeon and educator. Ultimately, she views Eisenhower Health as an ideal setting to refine her skills and launch her career in adult reconstruction.

ABOUT ME: I have been happily married since 2017 to my beautiful wife Samatha who lucky for me works as an emergency department nurse and can deal with all my medical jargon. I have two boys Lincoln (5) and Maverick (2) who keep us entertained with their bear cub mannerisms. I’ve been the patient in an orthopedic operating room twice. I love USC football, the beach, and an early morning at Disneyland before the crowds arrive.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: Orthopedic Surgery is highly competitive to match into so, matching into orthopedic surgery and ultimately going back home for residency and staying fairly local with fellowship has been a huge highlight.
WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: Dr. Schnaser, Dr. Boghosian, and Dr. Briggs all have phenomenal reputations and having the chance to be mentored by them was not something I could pass on.
The depth and breadth of hip and knee replacement cases was a huge selling point as well as Eisenhower’s utilization of robotics in joint replacement surgery.

ABOUT ME: Dr. Sanders is a fellowship-trained upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon. He founded a private practice specializing in complex arthroscopy, arthroplasty and fractures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He also practiced Level 1 orthopaedic trauma surgery for nine years. Subsequently, he founded another private practice focused on soft tissue and joint regeneration using energy-based modalities and advanced biologics. Since 2018, Dr. Sanders has been developing stem cell-derived exosome-based therapeutic products and biomanufacturing processes for regenerative medicine and orthopaedic applications.
ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: Dr. Sanders earned an honors degree in biochemical sciences with a concentration in molecular biology and cellular biochemistry from Harvard University. He graduated from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and was inducted into the Αlpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and was elected Administrative Chief Resident. He also completed a comprehensive upper extremity fellowship from the shoulder to hand with the Kaiser Permanente – Orange County Upper Extremity Group.
WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: Dr. Sanders has developed a particular interest in joint replacement for patients with advanced degenerative disease. With all of the advancements in prosthetic joint designs, materials, robotics and patient-specific instrumentation over the past ten years, he is eager to learn the state of the art in joint reconstruction. The Eisenhower Health – Desert Orthopaedic Center Adult Reconstruction Fellowship offers an excellent opportunity to learn cutting-edge surgical techniques from expert joint replacement specialists, as well as efficient practice management at a busy orthopaedic specialty center.
