Information For Applicants
The Eisenhower Health Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program reviews applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and fully participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). We are recruiting for two advanced Diagnostic Radiology positions beginning at the PGY-2 level. All positions are offered through the NRMP.
Applicants must complete a qualifying clinical internship year before beginning Diagnostic Radiology training at Eisenhower Health.
The NRMP Matching Process at Eisenhower Health
Applicants requesting application information from the residency programs are directed to the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applicants submit their application with their required letters of recommendation, transcripts, and dean’s letters through ERAS for first year positions.
Eisenhower Health accepts the universal application and requires all materials to be submitted in full before an interview may be scheduled.
Please note: Eisenhower Health offers two NRMP tracks: the Advanced (A0) track for July 2028 entry and the Physician Reserved (R0) track for applicants who have already completed prerequisite training and are seeking July 2027 entry.
Minimum Applicant Requirements:
- Less than five years since medical school graduation.
- Successful completion of an eligible PGY-1 prerequisite clinical year prior to the start of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
- The prerequisite clinical year must include at least 36 weeks of direct patient care and meet ACGME requirements.
- No visas will be sponsored.
- Residents will be required to submit applicable California Postgraduate Training License (PTL) or physician licensure documentation within 90 days of entering residency.
- International medical graduates must hold a valid ECFMG certificate prior to appointment, unless otherwise eligible under ACGME requirements.
- Applicants must meet all ACGME eligibility requirements for appointment to an accredited residency program.

Eisenhower Health Diagnostic Radiology Residency is an advanced residency program. Applicants who match with the program are responsible for securing and successfully completing an eligible PGY-1 prerequisite clinical year before beginning Diagnostic Radiology training at Eisenhower Health.
All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications submitted outside ERAS will not be considered.
