ABOUT ME: I’m a born and bred South New Jersey native, with a hearty helping of Southern grace and charm, who takes pride in the Jersey shore and pork roll (if you know, you know). Unfortunately, I do not have an accent – sorry to disappoint. I’ve lived in both Europe and the Caribbean, I speak multiple different languages and enjoy cultivating them to native proficiencies. I’m a bibliophile and musicophile at heart as well as a lover of all aquatic – centered activities. I do have my black belt in Taekwondo. I left the northeast/Mid-Atlantic region for undergraduate studies in sunny Tampa, Florida only to go further south to the Caribbean for medical school. I decided to return to the northeast to New York City for the rest of my medical education before eventually completing emergency medicine residency just outside Detroit, Michigan at McLaren Macomb. I enjoy making the perfect cocktail for any occasion, traveling to new countries, having new experiences, continually working on the best version of myself in all aspects, petting all the animals I can, and surpassing my great-grandmothers traditional 1,000 homemade holiday cookies every year.

ACADEMIC HIGHLIGHT: I earned my B.S. from The University of Tampa and graduated from the honors college cum laude being on the Dean’s List every semester. I was able to complete my MD during the COVID pandemic in 2020 and obtain my MBA in Healthcare at the same time graduating magna cum laude. I’ve been the co-author of multiple published articles and presented original research and case presentations winning 2nd place for case reports and 3rd place in quality improvement projects. My path in medicine has not been linear, but I am proud of the hard work – starting originally in pathology then switching to general surgery, then to my true home speciality of emergency medicine. I’m grateful for the experiences that have led to where I am and those I have yet to have.

WHY EISENHOWER HEALTH: One of my co-residents, Dr. Jared Sharza, helped curate and obtained the inaugural Social Emergency Medicine Fellowship position while we were both in residency training and recommended I look into this fellowship and the hospital as a whole. Upon meeting with my team, it felt like an instant connection and what I was looking for and more in a post-residency training program. Everyone has been so receptive, open, honest, and genuinely cares for their team members’ personal and professional well – being. For simulation, the knowledge breadth and depth surpasses what I would have received elsewhere. Eisenhower was the natural choice and my #1 for fellowship.
